Security Trading Inc., one of the principal shareholders of KONE Corporation, has established a non-profit foundation called The Tiina and Antti Herlin Foundation.
The foundation’s initial capital of 600,000 KONE class B shares will be donated on Tuesday, 14 January 2014. The goal of the foundation is to support and promote societal well-being, culture, the environment and sciences as well as research and education pertaining to the aforementioned subjects. Antti Herlin acts as the foundation’s chairman and Tiina Herlin is vice chairman.
“We want to show our support to the Finnish society and contribute to its future in different ways”, explain Tiina and Antti Herlin. The foundation will commence its activities during 2014.
